He clicks to the first news station he can think of and within seconds his eyes are transfixed on a reporter standing in front of an overturned fire truck. Buck. No, it can't. No. He's frozen to the spot. The camera angle changes to an aerial view. The reporter's voice echoes in his head but he takes nothing in all he can see is the tiny figure lying trapped partway underneath the ladder truck.
Blood is rushing in his head. No, it can't be Buck. Not his brother. Without conscious choice, he's moving closer to the TV staring at the person. Lying there. Unmoving.
