Loki was always good at hiding. It'd take hours for Thor or mother to find him. That is how excellent he was in this art, but when he was caught and shipped to the Avengers Tower to answer the team of warriors who'd defeated him.. Loki realised that his personal skill sets were rather weak.
The pain in their eyes told him a different story.
(Or I'm really so down bad after catching up on weekly episodes of Loki and I just wanted my boy to experience a happy ending rather than run rounds around the TVA, so ig a canon divergent fic it is!)

Loki and Sylvie visit a bar, and they play a video game called "Zaniac." They attempt to get past all of the levels but end up addressing their feelings instead. AKA a crackfic where Sylki solves all of their unspoken tension!
“You idiot! You smash the red button to dodge, not the orange one! Now you’ve just sent us off of a cliff!” Loki winced as Sylvie shouted frustrations in his ear.
It was over. Zaniac, the tiny little man on the arcade game screen lay limp and bloody, with sad x marks replacing his eyes, as X-5’s ridiculous voice repeated over and over again like a ticking clock. “You died. Insert another chip, loser!” Wild zombies decided to swing on vines and further tear apart the sad man’s little corpse. Perhaps that was Loki’s new nickname for the tiny figure on that screen — Sad Man. It definitely resonated with him.
Loki hung his head in defeat as Sylvie rolled her eyes and passed him another dime.

“Yeah, looking through those boring files is exhausting in and of itself.” Loki huffed. There was another silence, with only the barely audible noises of the constantly operating TVA-offices on another floor. Mobius moved from leaning on the backrest of the couch to sitting on the armrest. He wasn’t going back to bed until the other had fully rested up.

It is a struggle between the Avengers when Thor appears on their doorstep and begs them to help his brother. Only time and forgiveness will allow the past to lie behind them all. For Loki it is an ultimatum that will decide his future.
