Torchbearer, or Torch as everyone calls him, is the instructor for all transfer initiates. With his curly black hair and deep, piercing eyes, Clancy immediately feels threatened by the man’s presence. Torch became the key to his survival in Dauntless, keeping him on his toes and protecting him from the many dangers that lie within the faction.
When Clancy’s divergence is revealed and a war between the factions looms overhead, it is up to him and Torch to keep Chicago together.

Frank nie może się nie fascynować starszym mężczyzną i sposobem, w jaki ten chodzi, mówi i spogląda. I kiedy Gerard w końcu pozwala mu się zbliżyć, wyzwala to w nich obu coś, czego żaden z nich nie oczekiwał, na sposoby, na które żadne z nich nie liczyło. Ale to wszystko jest tajemnicą, bo oczywiście Gerard jest bardzo ważnym człowiekiem i oczywiście... Frank to tylko dzieciak.

Tyler jumps at a sudden cough, nearly sucking the joint right down his throat, he keels over trying to catch his breath as he hears choked laughter and ‘oh my god, are you okay?’ next to him. He finally catches his breath and stands, back to the wall, letting his head fall back and inhaling a large gulp of oxygen.
Tyler stares opened mouth at the random man, he has his hands tucked in his pockets and his brows furrowed as he looks, more like stares, at Tyler. Tyler is suddenly very aware of the joint between his fingers, he ashes it and looks guiltily into the random man’s eyes.
“Umm, it’s for my glaucoma?”Or, the one where Josh inherited a winery and all that comes with it and Tyler was tired of serving people in the restaurant, so he took a good old, farm-boy, vineyard worker position at a local winery.
