Thor just doesn't understand the reason Loki has to take over Asgard, why he hates Odin so much, or even why he tried to rule Midgard. Tony does. In fact, Tony thinks he might understand a little too much about his former enemy.

“Stop here.” The dog commanded, and Mobius did just that. He watched, frowning, as the dog’s eyes began to glow a rich golden colour, before she was suddenly engulfed in light. Mobius shielded his eyes as the light grew even brighter, shimmering as it curled around the dog.
All of a sudden, the light disappeared, followed by a thump. Mobius went to open his eyes, but the dog’s voice stopped him. “Don’t look,” she snapped, and Mobius hurried to obey. He kept his hand pressed to his eyes until he was told otherwise. A heavy, weary sigh sounded, before the same voice said: “Okay. You can look now. Just – don’t freak out.”
Mobius frowned, dropping his hand and opening his eyes. Standing in a patch of scorched ground, where the dog had stood a few moments ago, was the most beautiful person Mobius had ever seen. Ever. Her hair was long, falling in dark waves around her shoulders and adorned with an intricate gold circlet that sat on her forehead. Her skin was pale, but seemed to glow with the steady, heady thrum of golden magic – the same magic that had just filled the clearing.

And when the stress causes a terrible nightmare for Loki, causing his magic to turn on him, it is Thor who comes to his brother's rescue. But who will rescue them when the nightmare threatens to swallow them both? You guessed it- mama Frigga.
