An AU, where Grindelwald a year after Secrets of Dumbledore- in order to keep a certain powerful and very dangerous Muggle group not unlike his own happy- sells Theseus out as a British spy. After a period of torture, an unexpected magical incident frees Theseus, but the Auror finds himself a man out of time (and an assumed casualty of the war against Grindelwald) and has to deal with both the third war of his lifetime as well. How will he handle his new time, especially with a new war so close to starting? And how will people in the new time- specifically, Harry Potter and friends- react to this war hero out of time?
Starts in 1933, so mentions Nazis, the Gestapo, SS, and SA, and a certain Austrian painter.-
