Nick stood his ground but found his eyes briefly drawn to odd details, like the a silver hoop pierced through Blondie’s ear or the way the dark scruff of his undercut contrasted with the flop of wild golden hair falling over his right eye. “What do you want from me, my soul?”
With a long once over that scraped Nick from head to toe, Blondie unclasped his hands and held his left one out between them, palm up. He gave a delicate twist of his wrist and the black glove dissolved into his skin to reveal an intricate hand formed of the same gnarled wood as his horns. Ephemeral veins of dark blue and teal pulsed through the wood, the glow there and gone again in the blink of an eye. He wiggled his fingers and winked at Nick.
“Why don’t we shake on it and find out later?”

Wolfwood’s first thought is, Damn, he’s cute. And he is—big blue eyes, a riot of blond spikes he wants to run his fingers through, a sheepish smile.
Wolfwood’s second thought, the one he verbalizes, is, “Oh my god no.” Because the guy is wearing a red apron and, above a couple brightly-colored pins, a black and white paisley bandana.

Today Vash Savarem was the best Formula 1 driver and Stampede the best Constructor with only two seasons under their belt.
