Develops SecUnit’s understanding of Ratthi’s expertise and builds upon his canon relationship with Tarik. Deeply satisfying conclusion.

Gurathin doesn’t sleep, the night that it leaves. Too much has happened – too much has changed – too much to think about. And, besides that, the residual panic, the residual headache and tension in his skull and spine, the spiralling thoughts about how he’s going to break it to the others that it’s left–
The next night, though – when he finally collapses, exhausted, into his bunk – he sleeps. He almost immediately wishes he hadn’t.
(It turns out, downloading a person into your brain has Consequences, Actually. Who'd have thought. Gurathin finds this out the hard way.)

I was sitting on some of this furniture, watching a show I thought was probably too scary for ART, when Amena sent Mensah something over the feed with a high urgency tag. (If she didn’t want me to look, she shouldn’t have added that tag. She knows that, so it’s almost like inviting me to join the conversation.)
Telic isn’t putting any weight on her front right leg was all the message said, which was kind of weird. Mensah was sitting a few feet from me, doing something boring on the feed, but when the message came in she swore and jumped up.Murderbot visits Mensah's farm and learns a bit about the inhabitants.
