It must be raining. Bakugou’s hair is stuck to his forehead, the sleeves of his jacket are dripping onto the mat outside Shouto’s apartment, and there’s pink running down the side of his face in rivulets.
Pink.
Shouto moves before he can think, one hand reaching to cup Bakugou’s face, the other going towards his chin to tilt him towards the light.
Bakugou flinches, just barely, and Shouto stops, his fingers less than an inch from Bakugou’s skin.
“Fuck,” Bakugou says, with feeling, then locks his eyes on Shouto’s. His expression is complicated; almost as complicated as Bakugou himself, as impossible a feat as that seems.
It’s at war with itself; again, Shouto thinks, not unlike Bakugou. Hesitation and want. Anger and affection.
It's ten pm on a Tuesday, and Bakugou Katsuki is at Shouto's door.

In the Hanged Man the sweltering heat and dank humidity had encouraged a shedding of layers for all party members as they drank and played cards. He caught a glimpse of a scar, faint though it was, at Anders collar bone. It was silvery and something that looked years old, gained as a child no doubt.Varric’s mind had pulled together a tale of a boy struggling to stay close to his mother, grabbing for purchase on anything he could, only to cause the templars to pull harder, more recklessly, and when they grabbed for his shirt their plate scratched deep, spilling the innocent boys blood for the first time.

Mydeimos reaches around for one of Khaslana’s hands, which goes willingly as the prince brings it to his lips. Mydei kisses his knuckles gently, cheeks warm and tinged red as if it’s their very first confession.
“You are my one and only equal, Khaslana,” he says, face reddening. “I love you no matter the cycle or lifetime. I love you despite my language having no word for it. I remember all of your love, and I return it tenfold.”
Khaslana laughs wetly, blinking back more tears threatening to spill.
“Mydeimos,” he whispers, “I love you, too. I have loved you for 30,000,000 cycles—I’ll love you endlessly.”
Mydei smiles, and it’s blinding like the sun.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
