Haley loves her life, she is young, beautiful and in her prime. Yeah she was stuck in this small town but hey whatever she did fine, modelling hadn’t been going as well but she’d get it sorted. Haley was set and content that was for sure, nothing was wrong and she was ready for the life that was expected of her, she doubted anything could change her mind on that. She'd heard the farmers daughter had moved to town which was... annoying she guessed she'd have to avoid another smelly farmer.

Haley needs some colour, could her emerging friendship with another resident of Pelican Town connect her with one of the most colourful girls in town? And can she stamp out the feelings that come with every sensible compliment, every blunt observation, and every soft touch?Sam has carefully eradicated every mildly romantic thought he's ever had about his best friend since they started. Now, freshly 18 he thought he was squeaky clean. But with the return of his father, Kent, he is awash with old emotions. Like how he hates the way everything they eat is infused with hazelnuts, or his sense of adventure, sneaking out was much more threatening with his father, or like the lingering glances, the lovesick sighs, the too long touches when handing over the console controller.
Most of all, the jealousy, when the lovelier blond of Pelican Town seems to be all over him. And vice versa. -

My first attempt on a Haley x female farmer girl fanfic. It's without any NSFW content and from the perspective of Haley. (For now)
I tried to make it as canon friendly as possible.A new farmer comes into town, and Haley doesn't like it. The farmer is weirdly nice to her and it makes her angry but at the same time more curious to get to now this girl. Meanwhile she struggles with the process of becoming older and questioning if there's something wrong with her.
