Mom and Don had also taken a break from working on the new Resolute for the holiday season, though she knew they were nearing it's completion. Everything seemed well, but… She knew Will would be off again soon. She worried about him, even though she knew Robot would take good care of him. He was her little brother, even if he wasn't so little anymore.
Penny and Dad seemed good, Grant did as well. Mom was relieved to be home, and Don was his usual self, full of jokes and his cocky sense of humor. Maureen had announced that they would be looking for a fresh crew to head back to Earth on the new Resolute. Judy secretly wondered and halfway suspected by her enthusiasm about the project that Mom was wanting to be on the first ride back… She was guessing Don would probably do the same. Penny was hanging out with Vijay a lot lately as well.
She sighed softly, looking back up at the night sky; seemed like just when the family had come back together, they were going to be split up again.
