Loona was out with some of her friends, which meant Blitzø and Stolas had the entire apartment to themselves. He could get his laundry done and get some action, all at the same time without risking getting banned from another laundromat.
That was his plan for the day, until he turned the corner with his laundry basket only to find the dryer door cracked open and grey feathers poking out and scattered over the floor.

Stolas blushed a bit, looking around the room. He said with faux casualness, “Oh, do you remember that imp I danced with at that party? The one with your exes?”
How could Blitzø fucking forget? It was all he thought about the following week, and only most of what he thought about until last night, where nearly dying and then nearly losing Stolas took priority.
He had driven himself mad with the thought. Fucking Derek. Blitzø can’t even remember when or how he had gotten fucking involved with the motherfucker. And he didn’t really care. All he had cared about was the way that he had made Stolas smile and how he had kissed him and how fucking messed up that was. All he had cared about was that Stolas was being touched by someone who wasn’t him. That Stolas was accepting someone else’s touch after so recently rejecting his.
Blitzø had vague recollections of motherfucking Derek (name helpfully supplied by Verosika), and he just knew that he was the touchy-feely type. Apparently, fucking Stolas’ type.
“I remember,” Blitzø said finally, tightly. Just to gauge his reaction, he added, “He was a good fuck.”

This story picks up just after the trial and deals with all our beloved characters trying to cope as best they can in the aftermath of whatever the hell that shitshow was.
Blitz is trying his absolute hardest.
Stolas is not doing all that great.
Loona is giving the whole supporting daughter deal a try.
Mill and Mox are having their own issues (as we all well know after having watched Sinsmas).
Fizz and Oz and Verosika and Beelzebub all lend a shoulder to cry on and more. Hell, even Pringles makes an appearance.
And our two mains are shocked - to put it mildly - to see how many people are in their corner and what an extremely vast support network they're going to have along the way.
So things might not be that terribly bleak after all, if only given enough time.Also - apropos of absolutely nothing - this happens to be my 69th published fic. And I just thought that to be neat. And also very fitting. I can just about imagine Blitz going: "nice" while doing finger guns :))

Summary
Set after Mastermind but before Sinsmas (or an alternative, if you prefer), Stolas has finally decided to swallow his pride and return to the palace for his medication. He knows it's risky, that everyone there despises him, but he simply can't take it anymore.
When Stolas doesn't return from his "quick trip" after hours have passed, Blitz does the only thing he can think of; he goes after him, not caring that everyone at the palace likely wants him dead after everything.
When he finds Stolas, there's something... wrong. He's seen him in a similar state before, but this... this isn't right.
(Inspired by Constellations by Drawn_and_Quoted - I loved their portrayal of Stolas' prophecies!)
