Summary
14 months ago, Peregrin ‘Pippin’ Murphy had a psychotic break with reality.
She remembers herself ripped from reality by a tentacled vessel, then being infected with a squirming tadpole by a squid-faced abomination. She remembers going on a grand adventure in a fantasy world where she served justice, made friends and fell in love. She remembers entire months of this, but was only gone for weeks. Whatever Pippin was really up to during the weeks she was missing is a mystery, what she does remember she now knows to be false.
A year since Pippins’ return to her own mind and she’s getting better. The authorities found her on the side of a highway, far from the city where she lived, the victim of a hit-and-run. The blow to her head seems to have actually helped her; she knows what reality is now. Pippin is determined to make the most of her return to the real world. She dutifully takes her medication, attends group and private sessions. She follows her doctor's orders.
This weekend, she has been granted an overnight pass. Her first since the break. Her father is coming to collect her and bring her home for a visit.
Or is he?
Someone has come to collect her, anyway.
It’s time Pippin went home.

Summary
Wyll had never been good at wanting things. It always came with a tremendous amount of guilt that almost made the things he wanted no longer worth it. But even with the guilt, his heart had never ceased its dreadful longing, and that had only grown the longer Wyll spent away from Astarion. Now that he was here, sitting in front of Wyll and smiling as though no time had passed at all, Wyll’s heart wanted nothing more than to rip itself from his chest and take permanent residence in Astarion’s hands.
Instead, Wyll hid the nervous clearing of his throat behind the sound of the tap water, and hung the rag over the side of the basin to dry. He turned back to Astarion, resuming his professionalism.
"What can I get you, my friend?” he asked.
~
It's been a year since they defeated the Netherbrain, and Wyll has made a life for himself out in the wilds of the Sword Coast. When Winter comes, and Wyll sequesters within a tavern inn, he's joined by an old friend who hasn't left his mind - or his heart - even after all this time.

When Shadowheart first found herself in the Nautiloid, she had been certain that everything was lost. She was either going to be killed by Mindflayers, get turned into one or manage to escape and die in the process of trying to reach the Gate. What she hadn’t expected was a fiery red tiefling to pry her pod open and rescue her. That was the day she met Karlach.

Summary
Lethe has saved the day, saved their friends, and saved themselves from Bhaal. You know what they say about all good things...
"“Are you well, my friend? You seem... distracted.” He huffed a laugh. “Though after the day we've had, that's more than understandable.”
Lethe almost laughed as they considered how to answer. “Mmm, I-” They had started to speak when there was a sharp movement to their left. Time seemed to stick as they went to cover Halsin’s unguarded flank.
It was just two dogs, playing with a tentacle in an odd game of tug. Unfortunately, by the time they registered what was happening they were already tripping over their tired feet. Lethe tried to catch themselves to no avail. Their right hand landed poorly first, then their head met the pavement. Hard."
OR: A Bhaalspawn's past catches up with them. And so does copious amounts of brain damage. A look at remembering things once lost, and dealing with losing the control we once had.

No redemption from all the evil he has done.
No reward from all the suffering that led him to make every decision. After making sure that all the former companions had departed for their new destination, the Hero of Baldur's Gate asks for help from a trusted friend who, unable to help due to the lack of the ‘free and willing soul’ condition, clues her in on how she might carry out her plan.
Perhaps the Wheel of Fate will forge ahead…

Summary
Three years after their victory against the Netherbrain, the Saviors of Balder's Gate have scattered to the winds, building new lives or returning to their former homes. Astarion has been making his way as a mercenary ever since, selling his daggers and unique talents to the highest bidder. Despite the passage of time and the long distance between them, Astarion's mind still flits back to the memories of his former lover turned friend, a half-drow monk named Varjo (Tav OC). Their romance may have ended all those years ago, but Astarion still holds those moments close to his unbeating heart, reminiscing with the mixture of fondness and bitterness.
When he finds himself near Waterdeep, a visit to Gale reveals Varjo's pleas for help-- his home at the Black Raven Monastery, under attack, hundreds of miles away at the Spine of the World. Astarion is faced with a choice to journey and help his old friend at the risk of rooting up old feelings and unanswered questions, or leave Varjo and the monastery to their accursed fates.
