Summary
A lot has happened in the 2 years Maggie and Alex breaks up while Alex moved on and began her relationship with Kelly, Maggie has been kidnapped by Cadmus for 2 years. While on a recon mission, Supergirl finds the detective in a cage, bloody and beaten nearly to death laying next to a smaller body. Now Kara, Alex, Winn, and J'onn are trying to figure out what happened to her in the last 2 years. When Maggie wakes up, she isn't the same that they came to know and love, instead she's the shell of the person she use to be. It was gonna be a long recovery for Maggie and for the gang.

Real friends don't leave you alone in a giant tower with an unconscious guy and a dog. Real friends don't get themselves arrested just so they didn't have to hear from you. Real friends wouldn't take days and days to know if you were kidnapped. Real friends wouldn't blame you for things that were out of your control. Real friends would help you cope after being mind-controlled to kill a bunch of people. Real friends wouldn't forget that you existed in exchange for ignoring their sexual tension.
Cadmus helped Garfield realize who his real friends were, and once he realized that there was no more love for him in the Titans, he packed a bag with all his things and prepared to travel back to Covington, Ohio, back to Rita and Larry and Cliff, and he knew that there was nothing that the Titans could do to stop him. Thankfully, he will always have Conner at his back.

Conner knew two Garfield's- the Garfield before Cadmus and the Garfield after. It was obvious to anyone with eyes that Cadmus had done something so unspeakably terrible to him that Garfield wasn't the same person as the one who Conner woke up to, and while he loved his best friend no matter what, Conner knew that there was something going on, something dark and horrible that was eating Gar up from the inside, and he was going to get to the bottom of it, no matter what.
Besides, how could he expect to be a superhero if he couldn't even save his best friend?

His time at Cadmus broke Garfield and the tiger no longer felt safe out in the open, but thankfully Cliff's stubbornness came in handy even when Garfield was miles and miles away. A phonecall never hurt anyone, and the voices of Larry, Rita and Cliff are what he really needed to hear as panic and fear threatened to consume him. It was just happenstance that Larry always knew the right thing to say, and a little bit of advice from his favourite people never hurt anyone.
