When Kara had needed to find someone to start pet sitting for Krypto when she went on some of her trips, for business or pleasure, and Clark wouldn't take him again, she was able to find some help in her kind of friend, Kendra. And after the first half dozen times that Kara came back to her friend and her dog in a bit of a state, Kendra is able to crack through the shell she'd had up for so long. (Being able to make out with Hawkgirl from time to time was just an added bonus for Supergirl.) Then, about six months or so into their friends-with-benefits situationship, Doomsday showed up.

Based on the unmade 1998 Superman movie in which Tim Burton was set to direct along with Nic Cage staring as the iconic superhero Superman/Clark Kent and inspired by "The Death of Superman" comic. Although in my version there are few tweaks here and there but the heart of the story is Clark Kent's journey, not just as Superman as he battles the likes of Doomsday and Brainiac to save the World. But battling personal demons and insecurites which has lead him to crippling isolation, as he struggles to find his place in the World and to ultimately accept himself
