Summary
Zahra, daughter of Thráin, son of Thrór, sister of Thorin Oakenshield, didn't live the life that she thought she always would. She didn't grow up in vase mountain halls of Erebor, her father, grand-father and brother. Instead, she fled for her life, while the sounds of her people getting slaughtered reached her ears.
Zahra, having been separated from Thorin and their father, fled Erebor, traveling half a world away, until she found herself on the edge of the Shire, her and Thorin's mother's homeland. She met a distant cousin of her and her brother, Belladonna Took, a lovely hobbit with a kind face and no love for adventure, despite her Tookish nature.
She took Zahra in, offering her a home, none had offered such before, with her and her husband. Zahra, having taken the name Hanna Baggins, stayed with Belladonna and her husband, Bungo, helping them raise and care for their son, Bilbo Baggines when the time arrose.
Zahra lived peaceful life in the Shire with Belladonna and Bilbo, but what happens when some familiar and not-so-familiar faces show up on the foot of her and Bilbo's home? What happens when the Son of Thráin comes knocking on? Read to follow Zahra's journey home.

In the main story of this series, you learn that Dwalin and Ori are soulmates. They are bonded. In chapter 8 of the main story, you learn from Fili that Ori had rejected the bond with Dwalin at first because Ori was insecure. He believed that Dwalin could never love a dwarf like him. Dwalin refutes those claims after Ori's arm is broken in their fight against the goblins. This fic is that scene.

Kili paused as he looked at his uncle. For the first time, he almost thought he saw some hope in those dark blue eyes. His smile softened, he knew how important this was to his family, and to his people. Finding a hobbit was the only redemption for the dwarrow of Erebor, especially for the line of Durin.
He took his uncle's calloused hand and said, “I swear it uncle. At least one hobbit still lives.”

Of all the tales in Arda, there was none so tragic as the history of hobbits.
Bilbo lived a peaceful life hiding in the Shire. It was quiet, safe, and a little bit lonely. Though loneliness was a small price to pay if it meant keeping his existence a secret. After all, getting captured by the savage dwarves of Erebor meant certain death. At least that's what the stories his mother used to tell him warned.
Never trust a dwarf.

The Took family’s collective sense of uncanny rebellion, adventure, curiosity, and overall lack of respectability aren’t the only reasons the rest of the Shire deemed them menaces. The family was never banished from the area, as the other Hobbits knew they were no match for the freaks of nature.
Every generation of Took children, regardless of their other parent, have been born with something different. Something that the other Hobbits whisper about behind their hands when the clan passes. Something that has gotten them rude insults, glares, and even physical attacks.
The Took clan Hobbits all have wings. And Bilbo “Mad Hobbit” Took is no exception.
AKA, Bilbo gives no fucks and is way more powerful than his travelling companions could ever imagine.

Dwalin didn't know what to make of the lad in front of her, because that's exactly what he had to be, a lad. For Dwalin didn't know of any lass that would be down the halls leading to the library, unless they were a noble, and Dwalin knew that this 'lad' was no noble. Though she had to admit he was cute; too bad she played for the other team. -

In addition to Bilbo, he brings along Aria, an angel warrior friend of his from the Lord of the Rings adventure. Time is strange, you know how it is. Despite her hesitancy, he is willing to try to change the past, despite the concern of changing the future they know will come to pass. Her addition as a bodyguard and mentor to Bilbo, among other things, add in yet another wrench to the already very chaotic company Thorin has assembled.
Hilarity, hijinks, and crack of course ensues, along with fears, heart-to-hearts, romantic moments, jealousy, and recovery. Will Aria be able to save the line of Durin, and how will her relationships with them end?
