Khun grudgingly settled in and maybe found a sort of boyfriend. Only for seven days. Yes, there was an expiration date. Then, someone wanted the dragon's hoard. And maybe its head. Or was it his soul? So yeah, they had an adventure.
"...Does Bam know how pathetic you are?”"And you? Do you know what you did wrong?" Rachel's whisper rang through the crumbling walls as she glared at Khun like he was the one who had doomed them all. "You did a terrible, terrible thing. You taught the monster how to love."

The tower is so unfair itself, not only in terms of strength or talent: the people are divided in three genders, alphas, beta and omega. This last one being the most afected, being view as the most weak people of the tower even if they are supreme. For that reason, Khun Aguero Agnis, wants to destroy this social rule and show everyone how the omegas can be even stronger than alphas and become the head of the Khun family to prove his point.

Summary
In almost all possibilities, Twenty-Fifth Bam was taken in by FUG and forced to become the Slayer Candidate "Jyu Viole Grace" after Rachel's betrayal. Other possibilities had him being found by Zahard or a 10 Great Family Head. Most of those paths lead to much early suffering for Bam, with Zahard or a 10 Great Family Head treating him relatively better but ultimately managing to convince him to fight for their side and see to it that the Empire and the 10 Great Families endure.
But this is not that possibility.
In this possibility, it was Urek Mazino, the goofy yet noble Vice-Chief of Wolhaiksong, who found the newest Irregular and took him in. Not all things will go smoothly, still, but under the much kinder and more responsible parental figure that is the Ray Barracuda, a happy ending is quite possible indeed.

Baam enjoyed being a marine biologist. After all, the oceans held such amazing animals, and each one was equally as fascinating as the others. There were thousands more out there as well, all just waiting to be discovered. That was fact. But even so, he couldn’t say he was expecting one of his friends to be a merman. He couldn’t say he was expecting the ocean to hide a lot more than he thought. He couldn’t imagine all the secrets under the seas.
