Even without formalities, the man could recognize anywhere those eyes. Ones that had hunted him for a millennium that no sweet temptation of the devil could ever tame the tragedy had occured. He had no plans of meeting the boy so soon or anywhere in the future. It will always be a cruel reminder to him that for all one knows that there's part of him that is still quite human.
AU of where Rachel ditched Baam before the time that was previously set on canon and Zahard's status became active early then meets a child that still continues to hunt his dreams.
Baam climbs up the tower with a new purpose while finding himself still protecting those that he cherishes. Although, there seems to be a seed of obsession growing within his heart.

a set of fics exploring various ideas inspired by the end of the odyssey, with bam in the role of odysseus and khun in the role of penelope. though these fics started as being inspired by the end of the odyssey, this AU has grown way more than i expected by me fitting ToG lore into this setting (and by me exploring alternate timelines)
it is not meant to be set in mythological ancient greece, but aspects of the setting (and of course obviously the original plot) have taken inspiration from it, while blending in parts of ToG lore

A week went by unnoticed, Aguero had been a week at school but he became uncomfortable when a boy with piercing golden eyes, brown hair, a well-proportioned face shape, and a tall stout body stared at him as if he was the most coveted meal.
But the boy was very cold and rarely even spoke. And the cold boy's life was full of problems. Because his life is governed by his family and not himself. The boy was restrained and stuck with his family's rules which could be said to be quite strict. Considering he is the main heir of the richest family in Korea.
But the presence of Aguero slowly changed his life and made him more restless and also began to feel his heart wavering and confused.
