Summary
Instead of getting snatched up by a Recognizer when he arrives on the Grid, Sam is found by a siren and taken to the one program who can help him.
Castor assures Sam that getting to the portal will be impossible. CLU is combing the streets and guarding the portal. But Flynn had a failsafe in case he ever missed the portal: It will reopen in exactly one third of a cycle. All Sam needs to do is lay low until then.
Luckily, Castor knows just how to keep Sam hidden AND find a use for the abilities of a fledgling User. Not so luckily, it doesn't take long for Rinzler to encounter Castor’s newest siren and take a very strong interest in him.

The Grid had become a prison; one wrong move could get you derezzed. Unfortunately for you, Clu had picked you out, due to your elevated knowledge of the ins and outs of repurposing from your given code, to assist with the supervision and assistance of the feared warrior, Rinzler.
Despite nervous and unsteady beginnings, you had grown a soft spot for the damaged enforcer, his discovered quiet awkwardness becoming endearing. The desire to be a shield for him grows with every additional moment spent with him, yet Clu relishes in being a thorn in your side and continues to push Rinzler past his already substantial ability.
The growing tension of resistance among a small fraction of the programs and the ever-increasing connection between Rinzler and yourself will have you decide how far you are willing to fight.

Prompt: Full split personality breakdown. Rinzler 'watching' Clu torture Tron when they actually share the same body. Rinzler soothing Tron's furrowed brow and providing the hugs, whilst critically assassinating Tron's positive traits and pointing out all the ways that he's inferior to Rinzler. Rinzler rationalizing and convincing Tron that his faith in the Users is the real reason for the severity of Clu's assaults. And eventually convincing Tron that, as they're living in a Userless world, his only way of escape is to hand control of his processes over to Rinzler.
