“I get it. I wouldn't be hungry either.” They leaned against the wood doorframe, flashing a smile that was supposed to be comforting. “Your actual guardian is on his way. Bruce Wayne, you heard of him? I didn't think he was the kid type.. But, I think you’ll be pretty happy with him.”

They don't plan to move out together, but like most things in their lives, it just happens that way. No one bats an eye, they've been DickandJason and JasonandDick for as long as anyone can remember, it's just expected at this point that they'll move out together too. Bruce's only complaint is over the fact Jason insists on moving back to the outskirts of Park Row. But Jason's already prepared with his arguments: it's close to both of their university buildings, the library where Jason's going to be volunteering under Babs, and Dick's gymnastics gym, and it'll mean he's right where he's needed to help run the Wayne Foundation outreach programme in the alley. Dick backs him on each point, even though his only stipulation when they’re looking for places to live is that they're together and he has enough space to lay out his yoga mat.

It has been approximately a month since Bruce had that conversation with the Phantom Stranger and Dr. Fate, who were in the company of a strange, white bat.
They stressed the importance of an "experiment" they wanted to conduct... A way of bringing more balance to the multiverse given that the amount of Dark Multiverses were starting to become a problem, especially with an alternative version of Batman threatening all life as they know it.
They assured Bruce that, if he truly didn't want to participate in the experiment, he didn't have to, they would find someone else...
But once Bruce heard them out and found out what the "experiment" actually was...
Well...his lonely heart wasn't about to pass out the opportunity to finally get what he had always wanted.Or: Bruce make a deal with Phantom Stranger and Dr. Fate and receives quadruplit sons, all reborn from different universes (and, unbeknownst to him, have cool superpowers as a result) to raise and, henceforth, create a new Light Universe.
