Summary
"I no longer cared, no longer cared about their stares, the comments on my appearance or term of being. Simple-minded mortals afraid of all things beyond their limited imagination, blinded by the idea of force being the only way to make anyone kneel to their pathetic existence."
Inspired by Desire, Roderick Burgess decides it might be useful to try getting through to the captured Dream by breaking his will by force. Morpheus tries his best to remain as calm and untouchable to the outside when yet he is internally breaking by the methods of those immoral mortals, but as the torture continues even after Roderick's death, he fears to lose hope.
But there will be more than graphic-violence, you also get a dead bird, a morally torn son of the tormentor, an incredulous serial-killer and a heart-melting librarian

Summary
Hob Gadling, a history professor with an unusual mutation, decides to embrace the opportunity of a lifetime when he is tasked with a special operation for the Division of Recovery. Nowhere in the mission statement does it say he should fall in love with the target, but there is little else he can do once he meets Dream, a powerful metahuman with a tortured past.
When Hob takes too long to realize the truth, he makes the wrong choice with disastrous consequences for everyone.

Out of thought you are born. Formless unconsciousness. You must claim a new form, Lord Shaper.
His desperation trembled at this command and fled to the extremities of the Dreaming, ‘til he felt other realms — his siblings’ realms.
How curious, to know you are of others, but know not of self. How long will you remain this way? Are this way? Were this way?
Something watched and something waited…here in the darkness.
Here in the darkness he was alone, and was not.

Summary
Hob Gadling didn't leave with just his belongings in 1889, his Stranger left a coat, hat, and gloves. Objects that might just lead to his rescue.
(ON HIATUS: When I started writing this I started having heart issues and then my insurance was suddenly canceled before I could find out what was wrong with my heart. When I looked into my insurance problem it was because they sent the paperwork to renew my insurance to my old address, but somehow knew I was at my current one to say "sorry you're uninsured" and I've been fighting to get my insurance back for like a year.
I can't focus well enough to write this fic properly. I do plan to return to this project. I just can't right now, I won't be able to give you a proper story. We know this story is messy enough as is.

Two years into his imprisonment, and Dream of the Endless has not given Roderick Burgess what he wants. Yet if he cannot have back his son, then he will have whatever else Dream has to give, and sell it to the highest bidder: body, powers, and all.
Hob Gadling, newly back from the Western Front, has barely slept since 1889, and is desperate for any sort of relief, even that peddled by mad old men claiming to be warlocks.

Hob Gadling - Robbie Grayson currently- had a meeting that was missed. Truth be told, he wasn't going to accept that his friend/not-friend would miss the meeting because of a petty belief that he didn't need friends, so he was going to track him down and tell him how much of an idiot he was.
Just so happened, Hob was now in the business of finding and selling mystical artefacts which led him to the doors of the Burgess Manor because of a rumour of something powerful in their basement.

The Corinthian was left sitting in the alley, blood drying on his hands. If all he had wanted was to be in the waking world, he had gotten it. He could run off to wreak havoc upon the world until Dream found him again, but it was never about that. Sometimes, he thought, we run just to be caught. He picked up the knife he had dropped.
“My lord,” he whispered into the silence, clutching the knife tight. “I’m coming.”
In which Dream decides not to be a total dick and the Corinthian decides to save him.

Summary
The news of Morpheus' capture spread quickly, far and wide, especially in the world of The Fae; after all, what else did merpeople do all day? Sadly, even with quite nearly everyone in the unnatural world catching word of such an unfortunate situation, nobody was really able to provide any aid--and if they could, they certainly were not going to risk outing their species to a maniac. So there you came in, a child of one of the elements, determined to help in any way you could. You'd been around the Earth and it's waters for some time, fighting in battles where your aid were necessary; and while the nature of the surface world may be different from the cold waters you call home, there wasn't a thing in the universe that could prevent you from freeing someone you'd never even met before. Except, perhaps, an unlikely enemy.
