Theodor and the Elemental Archfiends travel to Baron to abandon his newborn brother, in the hopes of keeping the infant safe from Zemus' slowly corrupting influence over Theodor. Things take an unexpected turn when Theodor is instead discovered by the King of Baron, who decides to take in both of the orphaned brothers.
An alternate universe in which the Harvey brothers were not separated, and how they grow up together while Theodor struggles against Zemus' attempts to brainwash him.

In particular, the relationships between Cecil, Rosa, and Kain are highlighted, and reveal if their bonds will be tempered or broken as they grow and change. There will be things very unfamiliar to someone with an adept knowledge of the original story. What alterations will occur? How does this affect the flow of events? Why are things both familiar and unknown?

Theodor has overcome his demons, and now seeks out the little brother he abandoned to keep him safe from the evil lurking in Theodor’s heart. Unfortunately, that little brother has succumbed to the darkness in his own heart, and Theodor must find a way to save Cecil from himself, before Cecil becomes the darkness itself.

Cecil Harvey, Dark Knight of Baron, has reached the end of his rope and wishes to cast off the armor of darkness that encases his body. All the while, the woman he loves, Rosa, finds herself wrapped up in events taking place behind the scenes that involve mysterious figures from beyond her world.
They will both gain allies and foes, as well as both strengthen and find love.
All the while trying to preserve the world that lies underneath the two moons. But, in order to do this, three separate paths will have to intersect with each other and join together if it has even the slightest chance.
