But after an encounter with a young summoner, Aria finally gets to choose who and what she wants to do. A new name, a new vocation, and even a new gender.

Summary
Theodor and the Elemental Archfiends travel to Baron to abandon his newborn brother, in the hopes of keeping the infant safe from Zemus' slowly corrupting influence over Theodor. Things take an unexpected turn when Theodor is instead discovered by the King of Baron, who decides to take in both of the orphaned brothers.
An alternate universe in which the Harvey brothers were not separated, and how they grow up together while Theodor struggles against Zemus' attempts to brainwash him.

When she returned, it was with a hanger-on – a young pugilist, son of a rebellion leader, who'd signed on as enforcer in the snow-city's police force, caught between self-respect and survival in a fight that's lost all meaning now that he's here, not there.
Law's settled in under Cecil's leadership as easily as he might've under a certain other pale-haired swordsman's, but the web of interpersonal feelings is rather more tangled in this party than in his might-have-been's. In a quiet moment to himself underground in a hot spring, absent dreams Law's entertained (hey, it's not his fault everyone here's hot as hell) become reality, as those entanglements reach out to make things personal... in the least personal way possible.

“Take off your helmet, Kain, I want to look you in the eyes,” the man said as he settled in the other chair.
Kain did as told, setting his helm on the low table between them, and looked into the other man’s eyes. They were deepest blue, nearly purple, a color he had only ever seen… the thought slid from his mind, but not the trust that familiar shade evoked in him. Flames reflected in those indigo eyes. Though the face was narrower and the skin darker, he had the same sort of fine features, handsome bordering beautiful. It was almost as if this man could hear that thought, because his face broke into a grin. The moments that Kain spent looking into this man’s eyes felt endless, though it could have only been a few seconds by the crackle of the wood in the fireplace. The grin on the man’s face transformed into something softer, the most pleased of smiles, almost love-struck. Kain’s cheeks felt hot from more than just the fire.
“Oh, Kain,” the man said, leaning forward in his chair and finally breaking eye contact. “Oh Kain Highwind, I think we are going to be very good friends.”
