My favorite fanfic in the whole world is Sweetest Mockery, written by PresidentHades. It hasn't been updated since 2019 and in those 4 years, I've reread it 6 times. Absolutely none of this will make sense unless you read her fic, which is fully posted on Fanfiction.net under reader13lovesbooks. Maybe this will inspire her to update...probably not but a girl can dream.
SM takes place after Maysilee and Haymitch win as star-crossed lovers in the 50th games, the main character is their daughter, Ember. She finds herself, along with her younger brother, reaped into the 74th Hunger Games. Ember's family has a plot to end the games, resulting in all 24 tributes escaping and traveling on foot to District 13. (Making out and shenanigans ensue...obvi)
