It takes almost forever but the heat engulfs the place along with its flames, somehow still not managing to touch you but very nearly trying to cook you with it, but the window busts open and a man in a teal jacket comes and oh, is it the new hero?
It was supposed to be; but he hadn’t moved a muscle since coming inside. Instead you watch, immobile and vision blurred, as he starts to catch fire, and you would scream if you didn’t find that the ground below you was tearing itself apart.
So when the floor rips apart, and you do scream, you realize that this happened before, except a little more wrong than you could imagine. The wind of the fall puts pressure on your body, the open breeze and lack of leverage to help you is nowhere to be seen, and the only thing you can really do is scream and flail. You meet eyes with the floor, but it’s almost as if it’s going further down, the tantalizing thing. The floor is water, dark red water, only Kyra knows where the hell the red could have possibly come from and you just hope that it doesn’t matter because you’re landing in it— and now, water engulfs you.

Despite the size difference between all of them, Ajay knew not to underestimate both leaders of the Golden Path; they were leaders for a reason, and they were emphasizing that point as he slipped under one of Sabal’s kicks and blocked himself from getting hit in the head with Amita’s staff. Under a single second, he swept Sabal by the feet and proceeded to lunge forward into Amita’s torso, receiving a knee to the stomach before he had spun away.
