Summary
Merlin and Arthur Pendragon are married and are reigning over Camelot. Their magical manservant and bodyguard, Derrick, lost all his family during a massacre caused by Morgana two years ago. As its getting close to the date anniversary of their deaths, he asks his two best friends, Merlin and Gwaine, to go back with him to his village where his family tragically lost their lives.
Problem, Merlin is catching a cold and Arthur is afraid for his security because he’s sick. He decides to go with them, but ends up catching the illness too. With a distressed Derrick and two sick royals, Gwaine has no other choice but to take the lead of the expedition.
First chapters are more about banter between the trio Merlin Arthur Gwaine but it gets a bit darker after.
