“No more water, Merls.” Arthur rested his arm over his eyes again.
“Yes, more water.” Merlin set the chalice next to the king and sat up near the king’s head, rubbing at his temples. “Today was too hot for training, you know. I’m surprised the knights aren’t complaining of dehydration.”
“The knights don’t complain, that’s why they’re knights.” Arthur shivered, his stomach flopping ungracefully. He swallowed back a gag, determined not to tell Merlin he needed a bucket immediately after telling him that knights didn’t complain.
