Summary
Book/Arc I of long term saga that aims to explore the unanswered spaces of the canon.
Before the Keyblade War became history, before names were lost and legends distorted, there was a city built for children.
In a world where children are forced to guide other children, the war has left invisible scars and impossible responsibilities.
Amid prophecy, lingering trauma, and the weight of unkept promises five young leaders must navigate between duty, loneliness, and the fragile bonds that form despite it all. But the world is unforgiving, and every choice leaves a mark. Between fear, hope, and secrets, they must learn to survive, to trust, and to keep standing… even when no one is there to catch them.
This arc focuses on the Union Leaders and the bonds they form that exist only because they were never supposed to meet, never supposed to survive, and never supposed to carry the weight they were given.
The relationships formed in this era matter deeply and will echo throughout the entire series. It will be a collection of interconnected canon compliant chapters, following a common thread until khux ending.

After returning from the Realm of Darkness, it's becoming very clear that Ventus probably shouldn't have gone there.
Not only is he struggling with his lost memories, his internal darkness, but also his past and his true identity, but now he's threatened by two of the Guardians' old enemies who now appear to have several unfathomably powerful Keyblade wielders under command.

Finally, after being separated from decades - centuries, scattered all across space and time, the Union Leaders are back. Hearts restored, memories recovered, and Keyblades in hand, there's only one thing moving.
One leader who is still amnesiac, still missing his real Keyblade, and is still lost. And also happens to be stuck with the single most arrogant, block-headed key slingers the Union Leaders have ever seen.
Doesn't matter if they're the "good guys" here.
Nothing will keep Lauriam, Ephemer, Skuld, and Brain from getting back their friend(OR: Ventus is getting his memories back, and his old friends want their little brother back, but that puts them at odds with the Guardians of Light.)
