But Remus mostly seemed curious. “So I though, what if there was a spell to protect you from it? Then I started searching, but it didn’t exist. Which is really dumb because you can’t be the only one who’s allergic to something touchable-” Sirius stopped rambling when he saw Remus’ face. His eyes were big as plates, his mouth a little open, cheeks pink.

But the palace is not kind to those who lay down and make themselves into doormats. Just like all the beautiful, tragic, melodramatic concubines of years past, Harry must fight for what he wants.
