Summary
All her life Camille was treated as an equal to humans. She was raised as the daughter of an old man and his wife who couldn't have children of their own. But after they passed away, Camille was left with an empty hole in her heart and the sudden realization that not everyone around her saw her as an equal. With the threat of being scrapped near her doorstep, she is sent away to the Island of Sodor, a safe haven for engines. There she starts her life completely over with new friends, a new life, and a bright future. She quickly befriends the Steam Team, who all welcome her with open arms. Almost. There is this one engine she can't quite wrap her head around, but maybe she's not the only one struggling with the new situation. Something is just so... enticing about him.

Summary
In recent years, James has become a "problem engine", and the issue with problem engines is they think far too much of themselves and far too little of others. After an expensive stunt resulting in the destruction of Tidmouth Sheds, Sir Topham feels like he has no choice for the safety of his railway but to call in an expert from the mainland who has past experience rectifying behavioural problems with heritage engines.
"It's for the best," he tells himself as he makes the call, knowing that if James causes another incident like that, there will be little he can do to prevent his removal from mainline service. He intends to keep a close eye on the new driver, but railway life gets in the way, and he trusts the man to do his job well. After all, he has come highly praised from many other railways.
It seems, however, that the ways of Sodor are not the ways of the mainland, and James is about to find this out the hard way.

It was funny, really, how the world could shatter without notice, and never find itself lined up again. It was no secret that Gordon couldn't stand change. And there had been so much change recently.
He liked predictability. He liked doing the same thing day in and day out. Sure, Thomas might find that boring, but there was a sense of comfort in routine. A sense of rightness.
That was why all this change was rubbing him the wrong way. Surely, Edward could come back and Nia could go to keep Philip company. If he complained enough to the Controller, he might get listened to...

Long ago, the Fat Controller was not quite how you might know him. He was young and slim, and wouldn’t be a controller for some time, so he was simply called Mr. Hatt. Even so, he already knew his way around engines. He had even built a few himself. They were small, odd looking things called Coffee Pots, and though they didn’t look at all like the engines you know now, they did their job well, often with Mr. Hatt himself as driver. This is a story from that time long ago, when steam engines were still new, and when the Fat Controller wasn’t the Fat Controller yet, and though he wouldn’t admit it, still had much to learn.

“I do not!” Gordon responded quickly. “What would give you that idea?”
“Your goo-goo eyes,” Scotsman said sarcastically at his brother. It was so fun to watch him squirm when he had him backed up against the wall. “At a certain green tender engine.” He gestured with his eyes to Henry, who had disappeared over the bridge to the mainland.
“I do not have a crush on Henry!” Gordon snapped angrily.
“Your face says otherwise,” Scott laughed, and indeed, Gordon's face had gained a high light blush as he found a rather interesting patch of track to examine.

Summary
Engines all across Sodor are steadily disappearing without a trace- a truth that had been kept secret from the Narrow Gauge engines until they wake to find one of their own has been murdered in the night. Horror and grief overtake the Skarloey Railway as the little engines are spirited away one by one. Fed up with living in fear and desperate to bring home the engines he’s come to love as siblings, Duncan joins a rescue mission to save the stolen engines and bring the engine-napper to justice.
Meanwhile, hiding in a secret shed in Knapford is a certain small, green tank engine who has lost too many friends. When his beloved controller is accused of being involved in the horrific crimes, he swallows his terror and makes a decision. Either he will prove his controller's innocence, keep his best friend, the only one he has left, safe, and bring his family home, or he will die trying.

Summary
The Engines are concerned when The Fat Controller begins restoring an old branch line to be run by electric engines. The engine that arrives is a rude hybrid electro-diesel engine, who James tries to show-up. But when James' plan backfires, "Super E.D." rescues him and soon E.D. is trialed on several of the steam engines' jobs. However, James gets his own back in a rather "shocking" way!
Based on the cancelled Season 5 script "James & Super E.D" by David Mitton. I wanted to write a more grounded take on the story that also serves as the TV Series universe's introduction of the Peel Godred electric line.
For those curious, in this story E.D. is based on the BR Class 74 electro-diesel, but with pantographs instead of 3rd rail pickups and a more powerful diesel engine. There was an unbuilt Class 75 that would have been a development on the design, so E.D. is a fictionalized class of his own based on the Class 74.
