Summary
Nia the Orange Engine now lives in Tidmouth Sheds with Thomas and the others. The engines have welcomed her with great hospitality, all except for Gordon who can’t help but be disgruntled and uncomfortable about the whole thing, considering how Edward used to stay where Nia now sleeps. And now with Nia becoming the new station pilot for Knapford Station, Gordon is going to be stuck seeing the orange tank engine a lot more often than he’d like.
Gordon is completely fed up with all the recent changes that have been happening to the North Western Railway, but he’s in for a rude awakening once he learns what Henry is thinking of doing. Making quite the scene at the big station, he’s sent to his shed. Nia isn’t content at leaving it like this though, and tries to look into what exactly is upsetting Gordon so much. Will Nia manage to help the big engine overcome this or will things be stuck this way forever and ever?

if i had to compare this to something, then its probably your favorite meal but very, very cold - and yet, its the only thing you can eat without having to prepare anything. but hey! its the only fic with the experimental engines, so i gotta eat it up. oh well -
