He begins to explore and learn the workings of "Showfall Media", meeting new friends, and enemies, along the way.

Ranboo awakens alone in a desolate research facility at the bottom of the ocean. The screen before them shows a looped news-broadcast televising the end of the world, dated 2023. With nothing but a heavy metal mask that filters the ocean water into breathable air, they venture off into the derelict ocean prison. It doesn't take long for them to run into a group of individuals in the same situation, though something is off about the misfortunate group.
How will our contestants fair in this treacherous underwater maze? What misfortunate encounters are instore? WHO will be crowned THE KING OF THE FACILITY? You'll just have to tune in and find out!

[ON A BIT OF A HIATUS AS I FOCUS ON OTHER FICS]
I could've figured out my name through elimination, but I didn't care too much for star signs to have them all memorised. So with a steady hand I retrieved that final paper and unfolded its single crease ever so carefully. This small scrap of paper would in moments become my name- I at least had a reason to be so dramatic. The scribbled down word revealed itself to me, and I spoke it aloud.

Hetch and the founder were friends, the first two in a new revolutionary media company, Showfall as they called it. Showfall began normally, hiring people to act in their silly shows, but once the founder had the idea of controlling the actors so they never had to direct them again, only write the script, program the characters, and run the show. They worked on the control tactics and as they were finishing them out they realized how much easier it would be if they just kept the same cast, even if that meant reanimating them.

He let those instincts take over as they led him out of Showfall Headquarters. His mask and the rest of his uniform were already on; he could simply leave the building’s premises, as long as everyone inside thought he was working on a mission, they wouldn’t bother him.
