Once pursed lips loosened opened and his breath drew deeper with each inhale. Royal blue and familiar silver white, now before his eyes, she stopped to gather his being into her eyes. Her eyes earthly green, and his winter jade. His hair was hers.
"Father!"
At once, both their arms open for each other, Sephiroth pulled the child close into his chest. He didn't know why, but his body just simply moved on its own.
Behold, destiny's child.

The man Tifa speaks of has plagued his nightmares for the last year, nowhere to be seen in the light of day or in the faces of his family. Sephiroth is no longer a part of Cloud. Sephiroth can no longer tear apart his visage and reach into the caverns of his existence, crushing everything in sight like a bloody, wilted carnation. Sephiroth is no more when it comes to battling with death before he gets a chance to live. Sephiroth is gone. But Zack and Aerith… Cloud can’t say the same for.
He hopes he never has to.
