After running his first mission with AVALANCHE, cloud returns to the bar to get his payment from Tifa. Once Cloud arrives in the bar, he sees Tifa talking to a girl who he never expected to see again.
Sophia who has been friends with Tifa for awhile, joined AVALANCHE to help them with the cause of destroying Shinra. While talking with Tifa, the others return from a mission to bomb the reactor. Sophia hasnt met this new merc that Tifa hired, but she has heard a lot about him.
When Sophia saw Cloud walk in, her heart dropped for a moment, someone who she hasn’t seen in forever. Cloud’s face filled with confusion unable to say anything to her.
A secret she kept from everyone that she was an ex soldier who was a key person to Shinra due to her stealth abilities and sharpshooter skills. Now running into Cloud who she spent lots of time with while working with Shinra, is afraid her secret will go out, Cloud is unable to distinguish the feelings he has by seeing her for the first time in ages.
Will these two rekindle their friendship? Or will they butt heads and strive further apart.

When four souls entered the Lifestream Aerith saw the three fragments and the soul of her dear friend and knew something had to be done. The remnants of Sephiroth were incomplete souls however each had the makings to be something more if that just had more time. Time she could give them, to be something more than that of fragments. However, if she sent them alone, they would break, or break the world really. Luckily her good friend Cloud was right there and he always had problems saying no when someone needed help. Maybe together he could change and help more than just the three if given the chance. If he could get past the Turks, Shinra, and Soldiers wanting to know why there were three children running around that looked like mini versions of the General Sephiroth and their keeper a blond man who just might be stronger.

A lucky apocalypse, strange developments in neuroscience, and an elaborate series of pet names all take an almost-backseat in the face of the bombing — and subsequent invasion, then further bombing — of Shinra Tower. Zack No-Middle-Name Fair, Faux-Director of Public Safety (including SOLDIER), does shockingly little fighting. Instead, he gets into petty arguments with his co-workers and fiancé; he shrugs off being punched in the back of the head.
The even-shinier and relatively-more-conventional sequel to the already-shiny Zack's Bad Day. Very annoying to parse! If you're only interested in the XIV, you might want to skip this, 'cause it only shows up in the epilogue. Only, it might be fun anyway. Only one way to find out!
