When the has team successfully have a new highest floor in their record they decided to end it there when the next floor was hella difficult. One by one they all died leaving Yohoo (playing as astro) behind. And soon enough they died. Seeing the memorable wrap up screen they decided to teleport back to the lobby. But suddenly they blacked out and woke up in the lobby in dandy's world? Not as any of the original toons nor as an oc?! But as a human? This body doesn't even look like them in real life! Why are they wearing a weird ass uniform? How the fuck would they survive in a horror game?!
Or... An astro player died and woke up in dandy's world as a human AND the body doesn't EVEN look like them!

What happened after Gardenview closed. 20 years after Gardenview closed the toons found new things and still had to go to the lower floors to get resources that often resulting in never coming back. A group of teenage Toons and their companion pet. Although most of them not having real parents but more of parental figures they were shielded from the lower floors often told it was dangerous.
The only one who didn't believe in it is Astris Novalite and managed to convince her friends to go down with her only to discover a traumatizing reality.- Language:

Delilah was smart. Smarter than Aurthur could give her credit for.
Years after Gardenview closed down, no one knew what she had planned. Not even Dandy, who ended up being blamed for her own mistakes.
So he was stuck cleaning up her mess.

All the toons knew the Twisteds were clones created by the ichor.
Well- at least its what they think.
When they start getting tired of the daily respawning things start to go wrong.
When the first toon twists accidentally during a run instead of respawning, memories of the toons watching it happen disappear.
When the first toon that willingly twists goes down solo, no one is there to see it.
Whether it was done purposefully by Delilah, or the toons ended up blocking the memories due to trauma, no one knows.
What they do know is their friends are still alive. Well- they think so. Their replacements sure are.

Sure. They act the exact same and have the exact memories of the original, but something always goes wrong in Gardenview.
It's not until misconceptions and holes in their personalities and memories do the toons start to figure out something is wrong.
