Summary

My contribution to the RookieBug trend (this was NOT how I expected my second ao3 fic to spawn...); please bear in mind I have never played Resident Evil and am flying by the seat of my pants.
Leon thought shit had hit the fan when literal zombies started walking the streets, but apparently the universe thought it'd be hilarious if it proved him wrong. Now he has to deal with an actual mini-zombie apocalypse while stuck in an alien body.
Hopefully he can save a few people along the way.

It’s what he planned on, at least. He didn’t account for the monster, the apocalypse, and the rude Umbrella agent he’s now calling an ally.
Jill Valentine saw the U.B.C.S. as an opportunity; enough money to get out of her shithole apartment. Enough money to leave behind her life entirely and start fresh.
So of course she shouldn’t have been surprised when the ‘threat’ this mission posed was literal, actual zombies. It’s always too good to be true.
Even better? She’s stuck scouring an unfamiliar city with the most annoying cop she’s ever met. Between the terrible jokes and the hulking creature on their tails, she isn’t sure what will kill her first.
