“Piltover?” Vi asks, looking back at Ekko who just shrugs. She takes a step closer to Caitlyn, invading her space. “Let me ask you something– Caitlyn–was it?” Her voice is so close to her face. “You got a last name?” Caitlyn feels her stomach drop at the question.
“Well, actually…this might sound mad–” Caitlyn starts. She turns away from Vi, in need of some reprieve. She rubs her brow with the tips of her fingers, as if she could conjure up a better answer. “I don’t know my last name. I was found wandering around when I was about nine years old,” Caitlyn says sheepishly.
Vi nods, as if she understood. “And, uh, before that– before you were nine?” She brings her finger to her chin.
“Look, I know I must sound ridiculous, but I genuinely don’t remember. I have– very few memories of my past.” Caitlyn looks down at her hands clasped in front of her now. Her thumbs rub together.
Vi looks back at Ekko again, huffing a small laugh.
“Well I do have one clue, I suppose. And that is Piltover."

Her documents aren't just about Seraphine and Grayson's, it also contains confidential information about the council members and the Chem-barons. Every council member hides their own filth. Working part-time at the Academy doesn't pay enough to support a life in Piltover, so what else is there to do with one's smart mind than educate others. From happenstance or maybe fate, this aspiring lecturer meets a man in search of a competent tutor for his daughter. That man is Silco, Eye of Zaun, and industrialist of the Undercity.
Just how will our heroine navigate a career in the City of Progress while still living and perhaps even thriving in the Undercity with all its quirks?
Set two years after Silco takes Jinx in. POV Second Person. x Reader with no use of Y/N. Features friendship with Viktor.
This is a multi-chapter fic that is IN PROGRESS. I have the story outlined, but not an exact chapter count. The romance will be slow burn though, you have been warned.

Honestly a banger and I’m sad I couldn’t finish it (exams/deecon). Would be an 8/10 otherwise. Her relationship with silco is so nuanced I loved it. + the sex scenes were so poetic. Just the way the author writes is beautiful

Summary
Silco cares about two things: the burgeoning revolution he and his brothers and sisters in arms are coaxing to life, and making sure his sickly mother lives long enough to see the Undercity freed from the heel of Piltover.
All Katya Slostov cares about is keeping her brother, Viktor, alive. A tall order considering his bent skeleton and chronic illnesses. Luckily, he spends most weeks at Piltover's Prepartory School on partial scholarship and out of the toxic Underground air. Also, luckily, Katya is able to covertly abuse her position at the medical clinic in the mines to keep her and her brother afloat. Some might call her a drug dealer, but people can call her whatever they like just so long as she's able to give her younger brother, and only family, a fighting chance.
Priorities clash and feelings conflict when Katya is pulled into the Children of Zaun's orbit, and Silco grapples with the fact that there is another thing - another person - to care about.
