Summary
Kim Hongjoong is past his prime. Once there was a time when he was a reckless young alpha who’d stop at nothing to carve out his desired life, but those days were long behind him.

Hongjoong stands close, too close, brows drawn together deeply as he gently traces one visible mark with his finger on Seonghwa's bruised throat.
“It’s nothing,” Seonghwa says immediately, a little too fast and a little too defensive as he yanks the hoodie over his head in a rush.

Eventually, they’re forced to bring the creature home while tiptoeing around their landlord, Hongjoong, who strictly rejects the idea of pets. (or does he?)
