Summary
In another universe Jonathon managed to get close to one of his co-workers, Julian. In this alternate universe, Julian lost Dr. Ohnn to the Alchemax explosion. After his transformation, Julian lost his connection with Jonathon, who went on to become a supervillain. Knowing that multiverse travel existed, Julian decided to get Jonathon back by travelling to a universe in which the explosion hadn't happened yet. All he wants to do is save Jonathon, but all Jonathon wants to do is save his research.

Stede reaches out his shaking hand and places it on top of Ed's, rubbing the ring found there with his thumb. Ed’s breathing comes in ragged shakes, but he snorts at the touch and slowly blinks to look up at Stede. The corner of his eyes crinkle, so much warmth still in them.
