Viktor didn’t even know how he had gotten Sky to talk him into this. She knew better than this. Viktor wouldn’t party unless he was fully certain that Jayce Talis wasn’t there. The reason was simple: he couldn’t trust himself around Jayce after a drink or two.
Hell, it was hard enough to keep his hands to himself while sober; add up alcohol and a party, and Viktor was set for a disaster.

But after waking up alone at the computer she was trapped in, Pomni realizes her other friends have also probably found themselves alone. Will she move on from her memories of this strange purgatory, or does she find some way to rekindle bonds she may be unwilling to let go of?
This is basically just the "how do they find each other after they escape" fic, written before they actually manage anything of the sort in canon, with far too much optimism and not nearly enough implications.

Before he can stop himself, he picks up the phone. Every ring seems to last for eternity. Please, he thinks, be there, pick up, don’t be dead, don’t be gone…
“Viktor?”
His heart jumps. Silco’s voice is muffled, sleep-thick, but oh so achingly familiar. He had not realised until now just how much he missed it.
“You do realise it is 2 o’clock in the morning?”
He tries to speak but no words come out. The guilt, perhaps, has stolen them.
“Has something happened?”
“Papa,” he finally whispers. “Papa. Papa.” And then all of a sudden he is bawling his eyes out, horrible, heaving gasps and sobs torn from his throat, wracking his thin frame, and distantly he is embarrassed, but he cannot seem to make himself stop.
Worn down by the crushing weight of (not actually) unrequited love, workplace disputes, past trauma, and the existential dread that comes with being an overachiever in your twenties, Viktor finally breaks. Papa Silco comes to pick up the pieces.
Returning to his childhood home in Zaun for a long-overdue rest, Viktor must reckon with his past, his future, and the terrifying prospect of allowing himself to be loved and cared for.

Viktor stared at him, equal parts taken aback by the sudden compliment and appalled at him being this excited in front of someone who had robbed and threatened him.(Or, When Viktor accompanies his siblings on their first robbery in Piltover, he doesn't expect to find himself in a workshop of someone trying to achieve the impossible.
