Summary
He can barely think, his brain switched off from exhaustion and terror, reduced to sheer instincts, following orders and a horrible routine, ingrained into his very body by now. He is carrying Lewis, a grown man thrown over his back like a sack of potatoes. He has no idea how far he has been walking, focused solely on the next step and on hopefully avoiding shells falling all over them. There is an ambulance in sight, waiting for them, hands reaching to help him take Lewis off him without injuring him farther, and settle him promptly into the back of the car. He raises his head to look at the driver and freezes in shock, certain that he finally has snapped, that his mind could not take it anymore and went straight into hallucination.
The driver is a woman, not an uncommon sight those days, but this particular woman has no business being here, in the middle of most literal hell.

Summary
Making a name for yourself as a superhero is even harder than making a name for yourself as an actor. Darkwing Duck, the newest caped defender of Duckburg, the Terror that Flaps in the Night, can't get out of Gizmoduck's shadow. Worse, he can't get anyone to believe that he's a superhero in his own right and not, ugh, Gizmoduck's sidekick.
When he finds out that Tarus Bulba--crime boss of St. Canard, currently running his operation while doing time--wants something to do with a weapon called the Waddlemeyer Ramrod, he also learns something else: the inventor's orphaned granddaughter might just be the key to making the machine work.
When Bulba issues a challenge to Darkwing Duck, he knows he can't face Bulba and protect Gosalyn. So he takes her to the one person he knows can and will help him out: one Launchpad McQuack.

Summary
When what should have been a straight forward mission in Hell's Kitchen goes pear shaped due to lack of communication, teaching his teammates sign language seems like a logical step to Clint. Communication when their comms are down - great plan! And including the local vigilante, who's been working closely with them on this, is a real no-brainer.
Until it turns out said vigilante is an asshole that thinks sign language is beneath him, judging by the way he's stubbornly refusing to learn it.
(Conversely - Matt's trying, he really is but damn it, those two signs are exactly the same... what do you mean they mean completely different things?!)
