Summary
When Severus dies in the shrieking shack, he doesn't pass on to the next phase, instead he's transported back into the body of his ten year old self. The only thing--he still has all the memories of his past life.
So he decides to do the unthinkable--beat Voldemort at his own game, and use all of his knowledge to usurp and overpower him, becoming the new Dark Lord.
With both Albus and Voldemort vying for Severus's support, Severus grows surprising new friendships loyalties, and connections along the way. Foes that used to be his enemies in his previous life, are now becoming his closest found family.
But Severus' biggest regret--was losing Lily. This time around, he changes his ambitions, and in so doing, changes the lives of those around him, altering the very fabric of the magical world.
This is a story of realising that friendship and love, can truly change someone. That forgiveness and empathy is stronger than hate and derision.

Summary
After the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry is plagued by nightmares of his last confrontation with Voldemort. It isn't the taste of ashe and blood in his mouth from all the death and destruction around him. No. It's the tumultuous void of abandon in Voldemorts eyes as he collapses to the ground. One. Last. Time.
Those eyes. Those deep crimson eyes. Faded forever to charcoal grey. Those eyes have been haunting Harry since he closed them.
Harry doesn't understand why he did it, but he couldn't deal with life in a post-Voldemort world. Without the Dark Lord's presence, he feels aimless and without purpose. Sure he's 'The Chosen One.' But what good is that when the very reason you exist, is no longer around? What now?
Harry makes a 'not-so-smart-and-totally-daft-decision' to end it all, but by starting something...
He makes a deal with Death.
He only hopes that returning all three of the hallows is enough for Death to grant him his wish...

Halbrand hand-crafts a little souvenir for Galadriel.
It was the size of her palm, silver and intricate. A comb. Rectangular in shape, teeth perfectly even with a slight taper, and rounded at the tips. The handle. It was a work of art; strong and confident lines creating delicate carvings. On one side, a galloping stallion crushing the waves that beckoned and swirled and turned into stars and the moon, all inside a frame the pattern of which would make the Elvish craftsmen green with envy. On the other side, a beast, a dragon, delicate, yet powerful and furious, curled around its treasure protectively shaped like a beating heart.

“I asked for a handsome reward in exchange for Finrod Felagund’s life,” the man called out across the distance. He was tall, though not as tall as her brother, and dressed in swathes of black and grey, a loose hood shielding most of his face and hair from sight. “What do you bring me in exchange for him?”
“Galadriel, no—” Finrod began, but Galadriel cut him off.
“—Myself,” she answered his call, though it did not sound as assuring out loud as it had sounded to her before she left her home to make this perilous journey to come save her brother.
The black-robed figure chuckled in response. It started low, but it reached the distance all the way toward her. He grasped Finrod by the neck of his tunic, yanking him back. “What would I do with you?” he threw back at her. “You’re hardly a fair exchange for the warrior I hold in my grasp.”
During the First Age, the War of Wrath changes course. On the island of Tol-in-Gaurhoth, the Isle of Werewolves and one of Sauron’s former strongholds, is the seat of the Necromancer’s power. Instead of sending his wolves out to kill Finrod after capturing Felagund in his dungeons, Sauron demands an exchange for his life. Galadriel offers herself.
