Lightyears away from Earth, on a station orbiting an alien world, the Vanguard Forces of the Daxy Empire are preparing for the induction of a new species. A young man who's up for Assignment finds himself brought aboard the station when he's dragged along with his Counselor. A young guard serving on the station finds herself questioning her identity. A prisoner aboard the station finds themselves fearing for their species' future.
When an act of sabotage leaves the station cut off from the rest of the Empire, these three individuals fall into a web of conspiracy, conflicting loyalties, doubt, and rebellion. When unseen forces finally make their move, what choices will have to be made?

Summary
In the wake of the battle for Bryce Canyon, Miles Penn is reunited with his father, Adrian. Him and the rest of his little band scramble to make it to Zion as Administrator Paxi heads up the manhunt, but there are yet-uncovered truths about the Daxy's occupation which will shake the fractured Penn family to its foundation.
A recovering Colonel Braxys has learned much from her encounters with Miles and her rival Rax. Making a change in herself and in her tactics will be necessary to Induct the residents of Zion into the Empire, and have a shot at true love with Miles.
Meanwhile, on a distant corner of Mars, high-value human inmate "Forty" is subjected to the realities of internment in a Daxy prison, seperated from most of humanity's women who reside in low-security Relocation Facilities. Unbeknownst to all, she might hold the key to end the Empire's authoritarian occupation of Earth once and for all.

Summary
Miles Penn's identity is torn between the expectations of his unexpected allies, a ragtag team of guerilla rebels from Zion, and his Daxy partner Rax who bet it all to go on the run with him.

Summary
