Summary
A hand grasped his arm, sending a brief thrill down Merlin's nerves as he was forced around to face the person behind him. Armour gleamed in the firelight: supple chainmail glinted, and the solid iron of a pauldron curved lovingly over one broad shoulder. The length of a sword blade separated them. The point hovered, steady and sure, over Merlin's heart, braced to run him through, but he did not care about any of that. He was too busy drinking in the sight of the man before him.
He could never forget him, no matter how many centuries had passed.

When Merlin ultimately fails in his destiny, the fading remnants of magic that linger in the modern world fling him not just back in time, but sideways as well. He ends up in a Camelot where all his friends are alive, well and aware of his magic.

Summary
“What is right?” Tang asks, forcing Nan-gam’s mind back to the office.
“What?”
Tang leans back, breaking the tension and Nan-gam’s heart. He moves his right hand, finding Nan-gam’s iron hold on his hip and persuading his grip into his. Their fingers entwine awkwardly, two right hands together at a bad angle.
“What if your right isn’t the same as mine?” He asks him. “What if they don’t fit?”
He hates the way Tang’s words resonate within him more than anything he’s tried saying all night, but hates more the implication of their incompatibility. Nan-gam can feel the form of Tang’s ass against his pelvis, and bites down on the words: Then we find better places to fit.
A year after Nan-gam kills the notorious criminal Song Chon, that other serial killer shows up out of the blue, injured, on his doorstep, looking for help with blown out pupils and quaking hands. It seems Nan-gam has a knack for attracting bad dogs.

It is what it is. Riwoo ends the call when he realizes he should be getting back to his class, instead of talking endlessly on the phone and trying to convince himself he hasn’t completely lost his mind or any control he has over his own life. Hyunseo always used to tell Riwoo to be careful whenever he was running towards something, single-minded and too fast.
Uri dongsaeng, his older brother would say, remember to always look behind you. Running forward blindly tends to look the exact same as running away.
