Helio leads the side that stands to help those defenseless, while some Pokemon disagree that humans are defenseless she defintely takes their side. Randicota wants to be rid of harmful trainers, while other more annoying Pokemon stand in his way. Helio and her team eventually find a way to help them, if not her favourite.

Summary
New York in 2098 is a brutal, filthy place. Corporations war over technological advancements, gangs carve up the city, and a corrupt police force shields the highest bidder. Mike is a private investigator living and working with Will, his long-time partner and a talented hacker. Together they attempt to unravel a bizarre case involving implant malfunctions.
"He imagines the sun rising over the city right now: people rushing to work, cars stuck in traffic, crows croaking hoarsely. Somewhere, someone is dying of old age; someone else is getting titanium parts to replace living flesh; corporations are making plans; the mafia is collecting bribes from its establishments and keeping an eye on rival clans... But here, in this windowless apartment, time stands still, crystallizing in the faint, bitter scent of Will’s hair, his cold fingers, and his uneven breathing—and nothing exists but this moment."
There are two parts of the story alternating each other: some chapters happen in the present and cover the case protagonists are trying to solve; some chapters are flashbacks with slowburn relationships.

Summary
Juicy only meant to wander through the Everglades. A quick trip in and out.
But he was drunk. And the swamp had other intentions.
One slip, one missed step, one breath held too long.
He should have drowned. But he doesn't.
Instead, he changes into something he doesn't fully understand. Strange things begin to move in the dark currents, whispering soft warnings he can't explain. Every path he tries to take twists away from him, almost as if the swamp itself is keeping something secret.
If Juicy wants to return to the human world, he will have to uncover what the Everglades awakened in him.
And why the water refuses to let go.
