Summary
Based on Acacius' AU: Geralt and Regis meet one another as reckless youths. Geralt, a newly minted Witcher with only a few years alone on the Path, and Regis, a Higher Vampire still suffering from his blood addiction.
After their brief struggle Regis clearly had the upper hand and easily overpowered the witcher, yet before he could give the killing bite the witcher brought up a good point:
Was it within his nature to only kill and drink blood?
Regis had let Geralt go purely out of spite. When Regis later sleeps, he has an interesting dream.
