Guillermo hears the question from where he’s opened the absolutely gigantic refrigerator and has his head stuck inside to assess its measurements. For very normal, non-nefarious purposes, of course. He pops his head back out. “Oh, that’s the banana keeper, babe,” he says.

After showing fifty-three houses and producing zero offers, Guillermo and Nandor's unsuspecting real estate agent finally stumbles on the perfect goth place for a vampire and his slayer boyfriend. Little does he know that tonight will be his lucky night for the house-hunting duo.

They make a kinda bizarre couple, some sweater guy and his boyfriend dressed like he made all his clothes out of curtains. They always sit on opposite sides of the booth and don’t talk much, or hold hands or make gooey eyes at each other.
A lot of people have a lot of opinions about Nandor and Guillermo's relationship. They are various degrees of correct.

Summary
Twenty year old Guillermo has just moved into the house and is adjusting to his new surroundings. One night, Guillermo asks Nandor a question with a very long and disturbing answer.
"This was the arrangement Nandor insisted on after Guillermo bombarded him with questions every night as an eager new familiar. One question per week, predicated on completed chores. Guillermo had thought about what his question would be all week. He swallowed and asked, “When did you turn your other familiars?”
“This will be requiring a long answer. Sit,” Nandor said."

“I was not aware of these taxes! We have dominion over our street!” Nandor waves his hands around. “And over Ashley Street. But that is not the point. Why do we pay taxes?”
“...Because we live in a house, master.”
Nandor growls. “But I ate the guy who owns this house. Now I own it. I don’t owe anything to anybody.”
Guillermo glances around for the non-existent cameras, helpless. “America doesn’t work that way, master.”
“Yeesh.” Nandor grimaces. “I miss the days when you could pillage a village and declare no taxes because you were the new people living in it.”
Guillermo...is pretty sure that’s not how the Ottoman Empire worked, either, but he lets it slide.

“Demons have laws?” Aziraphale asks, head cocked to the side.
“Well, insofar as nature has laws, yes. Is that your final request? Is that what it’ll be?”
Aziraphale takes a moment to contemplate this. “Yes.”
Crowley nods, then holds the pad of his thumb out to Aziraphale’s mouth. “Lick it,” he commands.
“Excuse me?” Aziraphale squeaks. Crowley notes that this is the first time Aziraphale has been outwardly puzzled at literally anything Crowley has done.
“In order for a demonic contract to be solidified, there needs to be a mixing of biological matter, and I’m assuming you’re not into bloodletting,” Crowley says, eyes wide. He’s been wrong before.
