Summary
"Superman," Lex says. His hands move nimbly as he treats his wound. "I almost killed him today. It's always an almost. It's stupid. Why doesn't he just die?"
He swallows and opens his eyes to look at him. "And that would make you happy?"
Lex looks at him. Slowly, directly. "I don't know," he admits, then makes a brief, small face, as if he's considering the bad instead of the good, as if he's already doing the math in his head—he probably already is. "But I'd sleep peacefully."
"And... would you sleep peacefully if someone you loved died believing you hated them?"
Lex doesn't stop his movements, but watches him with a calm gaze. "What's that about?"
Clark shakes his head. "Nothing. Forget it."
Or: Lex hates Superman, but loves Clark Kent.

Summary
The first time Steve Harrington met Mr. William Hargrove it had been a winter day like any other. Nothing out of the ordinary, clouds rolled through the steel-colored sky and snow fell in clusters outside his storefront as the sun began to play hide and seek behind buildings on the city skyline. All Steve could recall when asked about that moment was the smell of cigarette smoke and a cologne that was distinctly clean and masculine. Oh, and something akin to the feeling of his restless soul that always seemed to be longing for something, finally settling itself deep in the hollow spaces of his bones. A kind of grounding. Something that he hadn’t felt in a long time. Maybe ever.
____________
Or, florist Steve Harrington meets William Hargrove, heir to his father’s illegal Chicago enterprise, and finds himself enraptured with a man bound by his violent fate. -

wow i can't believe the title isn't a noun that ends with "y"
might turn spicy later if i grow the balls to do so. we'll see. marked as finished, might add more, might not (doubt i'll write 120k words again but who fuckin knows) speaking of 120k words, this is written with vulnerability in mind, but i dont think it's necessary to read all that to get this fic; essentially, the boys are in Noxus for a year to help them build the Hexgate there (I assume there's connecting hexgates between locations, though in reality i have no fuckin clue if that's how they work. it's not like they really explain it lol), they're renting a house during this time, and they're in a realized romantic relationship because I said so <3 my audience is me baby. if i want to write an inordinate amount of rambling fluff I'm allowed
haven't played league. dont want to. everything written's based off Arcane.

Summary
There were several long moments of tense silence as the gravity of the situation sunk in. Merlin had used magic, and Arthur had been awake. Arthur had seen.
When Arthur finds out Merlin has magic, at first, he’s angry, then he feels betrayed, then torn—ultimately he doesn’t know what, exactly, to do with his manservant. Of course, he could never hurt Merlin, could he?
Set in the middle of season 2 just before The Nightmare Begins, Arthur learns about Merlin's magic. This story shows several select episodes, as well as our own scenes following the canon narrative from the perspective of Arthur knowing about Merlin’s magic.

Summary
Jake should have known the minute he walked free out of jail only to find Charles waiting for him with a sad, apologetic look on his face that something was wrong. Never could have he imagined the end of his nightmare in prison would directly be followed by another one, though. A much, much bigger one.
Suddenly having been a cannibal’s cellmate for the past eight weeks didn’t seem so terrible anymore.
