Summary
The Hospital Wing is supposed to be quiet.
Instead, a group of injured Gryffindors walks in on Madam Pomfrey chasing Regulus Black through the ward because he refuses to get braces.
What follows involves hissing, attempted biting, a blanket-related near-death experience, one heavily anaesthetised Slytherin, a brand-new lisp, and Gideon Prewett accidentally becoming Regulus's emotional support human.
Unfortunately for Regulus, everyone witnesses it.

Oww, Peter thought blandly as he shifted- no, scratch that, tried to shift- onto his back but quickly decided that wasn’t in his best interest. Voices, both his own and not, swam in his head like a wave beating against his forehead.
“They’re coming here because of me, right? Because I’m Peter Parker? So cast a new spell, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Make everyone forget me.”
“It wouldn’t be enough. Your very presence would destabilize this universe.”
Peter finally managed to roll himself over onto his back, ignoring the sharp pain that shot through his spine at the movement enough to sit up and look around. He was in an alley which thankfully held no occupants save himself and the trash littering the ground.
“But I can… I can send you away. To a place where there is no Peter Parker. No Spiderman.”

Summary
For a moment he wishes Sirius was there.
He closes his eyes, allowing him to accept it even as his lungs scream for him to continue fighting. He hurts…so much. It is overtaking him, drowning out the voices that continue to berate his mind. But he still cannot bring himself to fight back. His mind goes fuzzy, his consciousness beginning to lessen its hold on his body.
Yet, for a moment, he swears the pressure of the water leaves him. He swears that he is gasping for air and actually obtaining it. And, the thing that makes him fully realize that this is his mind’s last attempt to give him peace, is the mirage of his brother staring down at him, eyes widened in shock.
And just like that, Regulus finally loses consciousness.

James opens his eyes, and spots Regulus across the floor. He freezes too, and suddenly the tension is back, crackling through the room like a live wire waiting to be dropped in a pool of water.
They wind through the crowd and, without an audible word, Regulus’ hands find themselves wound around James’ shoulders, as the fireman catches his waist and pulls him closer.
“You look delicious.” James says into his ear, curving his head down to whisper against Regulus’ neck. “Ready to let me take a bite?”
___Or. Regulus gets stuck in an elevator with his brother. The pair of firefighters that rescue them are REALLY hot, so obviously they ask them both on a double date. Sirius and Remus start dating immediately. But Regulus and James have to make things more difficult for themselves and everyone else by rage baiting each other into making the first move.

They break up, and no, two years later, he's dating this new freshman, Regulus, whom he doesn't know is Sirius's brother, because Sirius doesn't even know he has a brother.
