Summary
The thing is— Ghoul knows what Party’s like, when they’re annoyed or upset about something. They’ll kick up a fuss and stomp around a little, but they aren’t ever actually *really* upset. Not even when Jet ruined their hair, or when Kobra accidentally broke their favorite set of headphones, or when Ghoul broke one of the brand-new expensive colored pencils the Doc got them for Christmas. They’ll bitch and moan and whine to anyone who’ll listen, but they’ll forget about it and move on in a day or two, and all’s forgiven.
He won’t say that they’re all bark and no bite, really, but they sure as hell do a lot of barking in the meantime.
“Some, some—“
Party gestures wildly with their hands as they talk, nearly knocking Kobra Kid’s milkshake off the table in the process.
“—some centre-city brat!”
Kobra shoots them a glare, pulling his shake back protectively to his chest and out of the danger zone.

The kid huffs, like he's the one being unreasonable here, and not the baby assassin who keeps breaking into his apartment. In his lap, Bella continues to purr. The kid strokes a hand down her back, like a goddamn supervillain. A supervillain who’s feet don't even touch the floor.
“You saved my life.” He says, in that haughty little voice of his. “I owe you a debt. Allow me to repay it, and I will be on my way.”
Wade blinks. “And you’re gonna do that… how, exactly?”
“Tt.” He gets the impression the kid's rolling his eyes behind the domino mask. “By saving your life in return, of course. How else? It shouldn’t be difficult, considering your complete and utter disregard for your own health and safety—“
“I’m literally immortal—“
“—also, where do you keep your cat food? Her bowl is empty, and that is unacceptable.”
Wade drops his head on to the coffee table with a resounding thunk, "What even is my life--"

Dr. Death-Defying bites the bullet, breaking the silence between them with a sigh.
“What’s her name?”
Cherri looks at him, then, really looks at him. He looks decades older than he is like this, unshaven and exhausted, those sad eyes a hundred different shades of haunted.
Then, he deflates, all of the fight draining out of him with one big sigh as he slumps forwards, elbow’s braced on his knees. He sucks in a breath, scrubbing a hand down his face and through greasy hair.
“She said her name was Girl.”

Summary
Hesitantly, he presses a trembling hand to the glass.
The entire universe is spread out underneath his finger tips, hundreds upon hundreds of stars swirling in constellations he doesn't know, a melting pot of dazzling colors, vivid pinks and deep blues, swatches of yellow and green.
If he squints, he can make out planets. Tiny little dots, hardly bigger than the nail on his pinky finger. That little grey one must be Lestea, the trade moon they just left, but the others? he has no idea.
One of them must be earth. How ironic is that he's the first human to ever leave the Milky Way Galaxy, and all he wants to do is go back home?
(In other words; After rescuing Tommy, sbi and co. embark on a roadtrip through the Esempi Galaxy to return him to his home planet, Earth. They make a few pit stops, piss off some shopkeepers, make some strange friends, and learn how to be family along the way)

Summary
The dragon moves.
He is already half-curled around the human pup, but he throws caution into the wind and closes the distance completely, pressing around him the best he can while still being careful. Dragons run hot. The shivering, atleast, is a problem he can easily solve. The human stiffens when scales brush against skin and fabric, flinching back slightly in alarm as a rough tongue brushes against the side of his face. Saliva is more effective than just breath, and, sure enough, the cut on his face closes, and the blue tinge leaves his lips. There, much better.
Up close, he can hear as the boy’s breathing begins to deepen, the slight wheeze slowly lessening. His heartbeat is steady, and his eyes are more clear when they meet his again, wide and confused. He’s still so pale. The dragon noses him again, making a low crooning noise in the back of his throat, safe-calm-I’m-here, when the boy flinches away, an answering call to his sounds of distress. A young dragon would find it soothing.
The little human does not find it soothing.
"Get off!"

Summary
Damian, Tim, Cas, Jason, and Dick call get punted into the MCU. What could go wrong?
Mostly just shenanigans + background plot for spice.
Disclaimer: I've read a handful of DC comics, and binged basically every DC animated show/movie on HBO max, but I am still new to writing these characters so, prepare for canon inaccuracies. My characterizations of the Batfam will mostly between a mix of what I've read/seen, as well as me whatever headcannons/traits I've cherry picked from fics I've read.
The characterizations of the Marvel characters are drawn from both the movies and are HEAVILY inspired by deniigiq's works, with "In Technicolor" being one of the main inspirations for this fic. Go show them some love!

You don’t even feel the need to apologize to Dennis until you start to realize how good he is. Like, good at heart. There’s nothing performative. He’s just a sweet boy. And you’re you, which never made you feel as bad as it does now that you’re surrounded by good people all day long. He’s the worst of them all, though. So fucking sweet, so considerate. He knows you hate the apologies, and he stops. He knows you hate the upstairs neighbors, and he says something to them to make them quiet down. He knows you hate talking about Langdon, and he gives you an out every time the man comes up.
Trinity probably should have known that Huckleberry was going to be trouble when she persuaded him to come live with her. She couldn't have known that he would become so important to her. (Seriously, this is the guy who killed a patient on his first day! What was she thinking?)

Except, it turned out, at the owl house.It wasn't the faded old mat serving as a bed, which was so thin he could count the cracks between the boards on the hardwood beneath him by feel alone. He'd slept on much harder and much lumpier surfaces countless times before. It wasn't the drafty room or single blanket. He'd survived the snowy mountains with just his scout uniform and cloak, and anyways it was summer and the breeze felt nice. He had slept under almost any hardship he could bring to mind. Where his body drew the line apparently, was at sharing a room with one 'Luz the human.'"

Summary
Tim got sent to the principal’s office anyway because apparently flipping someone over your shoulder is “excessive force” even if they started it and even if you used the minimum amount of spine rearrangement necessary.
So now he had a disciplinary warning, no lunch, and a quiz on derivatives.
By fourth period his brain felt like it had been replaced with warm oatmeal. He got one question wrong because he wrote the answer in Cyrillic out of sheer sleep deprivation. The teacher circled it in red and wrote “????” which felt deeply judgmental.
-Where Tim found out in a hard way that he's not always right.
