Castiel’s husband is dead, this is supposed to be the moment where he celebrates his freedom but instead his entire life turned upside down. His supposed well off husband left him with nothing, his family cut him off, and at 34 years old with two children and nothing he’s forced to start a new life.
Dean's had it hard his whole life and at 28 he’s just now recovering from a horrific incident that left him damaged both physically and mentally. He’s stagnant in life, spending his days struggling to regain his independence and mindlessly working at an autoshop.
Together they learn to heal and survive when Dean’s dangerous past comes back to haunt him.
